In the war of words between Paige VanZant and Ronda Rousey, Randy Couture knows which side he's on.

Miesha Tate recently shared a story about "Rowdy" following her loss to Holly Holm in November, which was the first loss of Rousey's UFC career. Tate claimed that Rousey cursed out VanZant for congratulating Holm on winning the UFC women's bantamweight championship from her.

Couture, a UFC legend, has heard the story and he said though he wasn't sure if it were true, he doesn't believe Tate would make such a thing up. He also said he believed Rousey was wrong to handle the situation like she did.

"You shouldn't take that sort of thing personally," Couture told TMZ Sports. "If you lose, then you congratulate the guy who just beat you, so why would it be an issue?"

Tate said on the "Joe Rogan Experience" earlier this month that Rousey sought VanZant out at VIP party and was furious at her, dropping f-bombs. Tate claimed Rousey got up in the "Dancing with the Stars" competitor's face over congratulating Holm following her defeat of Rousey, which took VanZant by surprise.

Though VanZant was shocked to see that side of "Rowdy," Tate revealed she's never been a fan of the former undefeated star and wasn't surprised by it.

Rousey fell to Holm at UFC 193 on Nov. 15, ending her 1,074-day reign as women's bantamweight champion. The former champion later admitted that she had suicidal thoughts following the loss and only got through it because of her boyfriend, fellow UFC star Travis Browne.

Holm's run with the belt was relatively short-lived, as she dropped it in her first defense to Tate on Mar. 5 after just 111 days on top. Tate will defend the belt against Amanda Nunes at UFC 200 on July 9 in Las Vegas.

Rousey is working her way back to the Octagon and has a plethora of options for her first fight back. VanZant, meanwhile, has been participating on "Dancing with the Stars" and remains in the final competition.
