Lindsey Vonn and Elin Nordegren may have more than Tiger Woods in common. They may actually have a bond.

The Olympic skier, who dated Woods for more than two years, and the golfer's ex-wife were both at the Kentucky Derby last weekend as favorited horse Nyquist took the Run for the Roses. They also appeared to be on good terms.

Despite reports surfacing that party organizers were told to keep Vonn and Nordegren apart, it seems any measured steps taken to do so were a waste of time.

Vonn tweeted out a photo from the Derby of her, Nordegren and some friends having a good time. She also specifically mentioned Nordegren in the post:

It was reported after the Kentucky Derby that there were strict orders from event planners to keep Woods' exes far apart.

"The staff was being told over a walkie-talkie that Lindsey was on her way over and must be put in a different area from Elin," a source told Page Six. "They were very clear about that."

A representative of Vonn had said she and Nordegren are on "great terms," while another source told the publication, "Elin really liked Lindsey because the kids really liked her."

Nordegren had two children, Charlie and Sam, with Woods before divorcing him due to his rampant infidelity. After the split, the golfer dated Vonn from March 2013 to May 2015, but their relationship reportedly ended over the skier's fears that he couldn't stay loyal to one woman.

Vonn, who has recently been romantically linked to "Vikings" star Alexander Ludwig, doesn't appear to harbor any ill-will toward Woods as she recently praised his skills on the slopes.

"I haven't skied with very many celebrities," Vonn told TMZ Sports last month. "Tiger Woods was a pretty good skier though."
