As it turns out, doing your own stunts in an effective way to shed some pounds.

Olivia Munn, the girlfriend of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, recently revealed that she accidentally lost some significant weight -- to the tune of 12 pounds -- while filming "X-Men: Apocalypse."

There's no doubt that Munn is in tremendous shape, but she didn't quite mean to lose the weight.

"It was not intentional. I was trying to learn how to do all of the stunts," Munn told E! News. "My character's the last to be brought into the story. They weren't expecting Psylocke to do a lot of fighting in the movie, but when I had signed on, I said that's something that I really wanted."

Munn said the woman who was supposed to do stunts for her didn't have the experience and though she was qualified, the actress decided to step in and do her own.

"She was very capable and very athletic, but she had never done any stunts before, and I had grown up doing Taekwondo," Munn said. "I'm like, this is Psylocke's entry into this world, I'm not Jennifer Lawrence, if they don't have it, they're not gonna make sure to get it in there somehow. If there's not a fight scene being shot, if they don't have it, they're not gonna use it."

Though Munn felt the unexpected impact of doing her own stunts, she was happy to return to Rodgers and eat some junk food once the filming wrapped.

"As soon as I finished, I went back to Green Bay where my boyfriend was," Munn said, "and I literally just ate chips and salsa."

Munn and Rodgers have been dating since May 2014, but thus far they aren't engaged. There have recently been rumors that the actress is putting some pressure on the quarterback to pop the question this offseason before life in the NFL consumes him again.

Though Munn has unintentionally faked out her fans regarding an engagement in the past, nothing has transpired just yet.

If she keeps on doing her own stunts, she may need a smaller wedding dress come that fateful day.
