The Warriors look to take a stranglehold on this best-of-seven second-round series while the Trail Blazers hope a return home will help them get into this set when the 2016 NBA playoffs continue on Saturday.

Golden State, which is expected to remain without Steph Curry (sprained knee), is looking to take a commanding 3-0 lead after shoring up its home court. Portland, meanwhile, will try to break into this series by notching its first victory at home.

The Warriors took Game 1 of this series, 118-106, last Sunday and followed it up with a 110-99 victory in Game 2 on Tuesday. Even without Curry, who led the team with 30.1 points per game in the regular season, the Warriors haven't missed a beat.

Golden State coach Steve Kerr said it's doubtful that the reigning MVP, who is likely to take home that hardware again this year, will take the floor for Game 3.

"It's tough to see him playing Saturday," Kerr said of Curry, according to ESPN. "He's gotten better and better each day."

Klay Thompson put up a team-best 27 points in Game 2, while Draymond Green had club-highs in rebounds (14) and assists (7) for the reigning NBA champions.

Damian Lillard had a team-leading 25 points in the loss for Portland on Tuesday and ranked first on the team with two steals and six assists, while Mason Plumlee notched a team-high 11 boards. Lillard led the Trail Blazers in points (25.1) and assists (6.8) assists per game in the regular season, while Plumlee paced it in rebounds (7.7).

The point guard's big night in Game 2 didn't come without some issues. Lillard had 17 points in the third quarter, but was held scoreless in the final frame.

He remains confident his team can claw out of its predicament and avoid the dreaded 3-0 hole.

"I know the kind of guys I'm running with," Lillard said via ESPN. "Besides that, we've answered the call all season long. We've been in bad positions time and time again, and we've never shied away. We've never not answered the call. I don't see why this time it would be any different."
