Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier both expressed interest in facing each other at UFC 200 on July 9 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jones fought for the first time in 16 months on Saturday. The former UFC light heavyweight champion looked rusty but was able to run away with a unanimous decision win over Ovince Saint Preux.

After the fight, Jones was seen on a wheelchair but the 28-year-old immediately played down all speculations, saying that he is ready to fight again at UFC 200.

"I feel great enough to fight at UFC 200, for sure," Jones told reporters via MMA Fighting. "My shin was swollen, my left shin was swollen, my left foot was swollen. When my adrenaline came down, I was in a lot of pain, so the wheelchair was there."

Jones was supposed to face Cormier at UFC 197 on Saturday, but the reigning light heavyweight champion withdrew from the fight due to a leg injury and Saint Preux stepped in on short notice.

Cormier, who witnessed the fight between Jones and Saint Preux, also said that he is willing to fight at UFC 200, which needs a high-profile matchup for the main event after the promotion called off the rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.

However, Cormier said that he cannot decide until his scheduled visit with his doctor. But if he gets cleared to fight, the 37-year-old light heavyweight champion said that he is also ready for the rematch with Jones.

"I'm going to see the doctor Monday, and if they say Daniel Cormier is OK to compete in 11 weeks at UFC 200, I'll be there," Cormier said. "I'll be there with my championship belt, with my red wraps on my glove as I come out second and you wait for me to walk to the Octagon. We meet here live from the T-Mobile Arena."

Cormier, who owns an impressive 17-1 record, has not fought since successfully defending his title against Alexander Gustafsson via split decision in October.
