Simply put, Lamar Odom needs to man up and take some responsibility.

It's easy to have sympathy for the two-time NBA champion as he has been forced to wrestle with his demons throughout most of his adult life. However, placing the blame solely on Khloe Kardashian and her family is completely wrong.

After all Odom, who nearly lost his life to an overdose at a Nevada brothel back in October, was spotted out at bars drinking again after making his miraculous recovery. It seems he hasn't learned his lesson, and he should take some responsibility for that, rather than blaming Kardashian and the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" show.

"Lamar blames Khloe and her family," a source told Radar Online about Odom's feelings on how he hit such a low in his life. "Being on the shows was the beginning of his terrible times."

It's especially cold of Odom to place blame on Kardashian after she put his well-being above her own feeling. The newly-minted author halted their divorce following his near-fatal overdose in order to support him financially and make medical decisions for him.

The "Kocktails with Khloe" host reportedly plans on pushing through with the divorce, which could explain Odom's hostility toward her.

Still, he hasn't helped himself by hanging out in bars and he certainly shouldn't blame the one person who was instrumental in his recovery, as the source pointed out.

"Lamar ignores the fact that he is responsible for his own actions," the source said. "But his life became a mess after Khloe, that's undeniable."

Sure, Odom's life has been on a downward spiral since being in a relationship with Kardashian, but it doesn't mean it's all her fault.

Odom's life is a mess because of rampant drug use and he lost Kardashian due to cheating on her multiple times throughout their relationship. The tumultuous problems between the two led to the reality star opting to divorce the former NBA player, and now that he's healthy, it's only a matter of time before Kardashian goes through with it -- even if he's in denial about it.

"I mean, we can talk," Odom told Entertainment Tonight. "Everything is under discussion. We can talk about anything. We've been through a lot, so it won't ever stop."

They've been through a lot, but it seems -- if the source is to be believed -- Odom is very ungrateful for what the reality star has done for him.
