J.J. Watt's search for love may be complete.

The Texans defensive end is currently linked to Kate Hudson, and their budding romance was confirmed in a Snapchat video the actress sent out. Hudson, 36, released a video of her having some fun with Watt, 27, while out to dinner.

The video showed Watt playfully getting frustrated over a filter the two new lovebirds were playing with on the social media app. Hudson used a filter that displays animated stars over the people in the video. While the stars were fully displayed over Hudson, it wouldn't work for Watt.

That's when the four-time Pro Bowler confirmed they were on a date.

"Apparently, the stars belong to the hottest person on the date," Watt said in the video, which was captured by TMZ.

This isn't the first athlete that Hudson has been linked to. The "Kungfu Panda" actress dated Alex Rodriguez from 2008-09 and also confirmed she has the hots for Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski in a recent interview when talking about being a sportscaster.

"I know football, but if I was doing that, I'd be like, 'Let's go back to Gronkowski,'" Hudson joked at an appearance on 'Live with Kelly and Michael' in January. "Can we get a close-up on him? And then get a close-up on [Tom] Brady."

It's unknown at this time how long Watt and Hudson have been an item, but he shared a Snapchat on Saturday depicting a bottle of wine, glasses and cookies, which presumably was another date night for the couple.

Watt has been notably single despite model Lindsey Pelas throwing herself at him in the fall and actress Tiffany Thiessen getting flirty with him on social media late last year.

The defensive end, who notably split from tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, addressed being single back in September and appeared to be struggling to find someone due to his busy schedule.

"People [I know] think that I've never dated before, or whatever," Watt said via CBS Sports. "But I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm just unsuccessful. My schedule's so crazy and life's so busy, it just hasn't worked."

Luckily, all that trying seems to have paid off for Watt.
