As the WWE is gearing toward the end of 2013 and the WrestleMania season in the beginning of 2014, there has been much speculation as to what the card will shape up to be when the WWE hits New Orleans for the 30th installment of its legendary spectacle that is WrestleMania. One of the most heavily speculated bouts for every WrestleMania is who will face the Undertaker.

Many names have been thrown out there, one of which is Brock Lesnar. t

WrestlingInc.com reports that WWE's official Arabian website at arabia.wwe.com mentions internet reports of Brock Lesnar taking on the Undertaker at WrestleMania being on the books for the event, adding to the rumors that Lesnar would be the possible choice.

There have been various reports swirling as to who will meet the Undertaker in the high-profile match that will see the Dead Man defend his 21-0 unbeaten streak. John Cena was heavily rumored following WrestleMania XXIX at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey last year that saw Undertaker beat CM Punk and Cena defeat The Rock for the WWE Championship, but a lot of those talks have simmered down as Cena will likely be in the picture for one of the major titles.

The match pitting 'Taker and Lesnar was heavily rumored back in 2010 when Undertaker was at a UFC event and Lesnar lost the UFC Heavyweight Championship to Cain Velasquez and then interrupted Undertaker's cage-side interview and stared at him.

Reports followed that WWE tried to get Lesnar to face the Undertaker during the following spring's WrestleMania, but Dana White didn't let it happen due to restrictions in Lesnar's contract barring him from any event outside of UFC.

One of the heaviest speculations for 'Takers opponent has been one that has reoccurred seemingly every year around WrestleMania time and that is the possible emergence of Steve "Sting" Borden in the WWE for the very first time to take on the Undertaker.

This is a much-talked about contest that has been rumored the past few years, but WWE owner Vince McMahon hasn't been able to lure Sting over to his company throughout Borden's entire career. However, reports indicated that since TNA is floundering financially, perhaps Sting could jump ships in 2014 to face 'Taker at WrestleMania.

While Sting remains a possibility and a long shot, F4WOnline.com reports that Lesnar and Undertaker is almost set in stone as long as 'Taker is on board with doing a Lesnar-style match, and given Taker's real-life fandom of UFC it should be a definite possibility, though Taker is aging and only wrestles one match per year. Lesnar, who has a contract with limited dates with the WWE, was set to face The Rock, but with The Rock filming movies during WrestleMania weekend and having been legitimately injured last year, it seems as though the WWE changed their direction.

It appears as though a Lesnar Undertaker UFC-style hard-hitting match could be in the works, but with a little over five months until WrestleMania 30 kicks off live from the Mercedes-Benz Super Dome in New Orleans, anything can change.
