Jordan Brand fans will have something to look forward to again this weekend as Nike is set to release two new colorways of iconic Air Jordan retro sneakers.

Nike announced the Air Jordan 17+ Retro will be released in "Copper" edition, which is officially listed as the White/Black/Sport Royal/Metallic Copper Coin of this model. This classic model was released 13 years ago, when Michael Jordan decided to come out of retirement and play for the Washington Wizards.

The Air Jordan 17+ Retro sports a white-based leather upper part with a crocodile skin overlays combined with metallic copper hints near the Jordan and Jumpman branding.

This edition also features copper touches on the lace eyelets and exotic leather on the tongue. It also has a white laces and insole, which has a black Jumpman logo on it.

The crocodile leather overlay and the copper part extend to the heel area, where a Jumpman logo is visible as well. The shoe was finished off with a white outsole with royal blue hints.

According to Nike, this particular Air Jordan was inspired by the improvisation of Jazz music.

"Jazz music and luxury were the two notable themes behind the Air Jordan XVII," Nike noted. "The shoe was constructed to fit the needs of His Airness' style of game that resembled the improvisation of Jazz music. Luxury was achieved by taking design inspiration from a first-class automobile."

The Air Jordan 17+ Retro "Copper" will be available on Saturday, starting 10 a.m. ET. Jordan Brand fans can get their own pair for $250 exclusively on SNKRS.
