Things got a little heated for Oakland Raiders defensive coordinator Jason Tarver during Sunday's eventual 21-18 Week 8 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers when he was caught on camera flipping his middle finger at the officials following a flag against his team, and now he will likely be hearing from the league.
Tarver became animated after Raiders cornerback Mike Jenkins was flagged by officials on a play where referees dubbed he hit a defenseless receiver with 8:54 left to play in the third quarter. The flag was eventually scooped up but not before Tarver seethed with anger and threw his right hand in the air while extending his middle finger twice in the direction of the officials while spouting off some choice words.

The game was being televised by Fox, and after the incident, Fox rules czar and former NFL Vice President of Officials Mike Pereira admitted that he personally contacted the league to tell them about what Tarver did. Despite the fact that officials didn't see an angry Tarver flip them the bird, the league will definitely look into it following a phone call from Pereira.
"If you want to call me a whistleblower, then call me a whistleblower because I let the league office know about it," Pereira wrote on FoxSports.com. "This kind of behavior is totally unacceptable."
It is expected that Tarver will most likely be hearing from the league sometime this week regarding a fine for his outburst.
The Raiders improved to 3-4 with the victory and will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 9 action at the O.co Coliseum this Sunday, Nov. 3.
