Image is everything to someone like Khloe Kardashian, which makes it easy to see why she is missing the point on Russell Wilson and Ciara.

The reality TV star went after America's Sweethearts and their vow of celibacy on "Kocktails With Khloe" via TMZ Sports.

At first, it appeared that Kardashian was going to get super-critical with the pop singer, saying, "With all due respect (insert your Will Ferrell "Talladega Nights" joke here), she has a baby. It's not like we don't know if she's a virgin or not."

By the way, Russell Wilson also has been married before, so there's a pretty good chance he's not a virgin, either.

But she just wanted to know why they continue to talk about it.

"None of us would publicly know about it if they weren't telling us they were practicing celibacy," Khloe said. "So who are you trying to prove to -- is it a look?"

To be fair, the Seahawks quarterback originally talked about their celibacy to a church audience, and the video of that conversation with the Rock Church caught on with the mainstream media.

Wilson certainly wasn't flaunting their celibacy. He talked about it, hoping it could serve as a lesson to younger Christians about waiting until marriage.

Ever since, the couple has been asked the same questions over and over about their celibacy.

They chosen to continue to be up front publicly about their relationship, showing themselves to be role models.

In February, Ciara again was asked about the abstinence part in an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine.

"It's going pretty good. We're hanging in there. I'm not gonna lie. I'm human, so it is not easy, especially when I look at him and I think he is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen - that I've ever laid my eyes on, to be honest. I'm like, Look the other way! Look the other way!

"But he's such an awesome guy and the cool thing is that every day, we're growing with each other. We get to have really healthy conversations and focus on each other as people. That is very important to me and him. It's very valuable. We're just enjoying ourselves and going one day at a time and praying and staying positive. Being strong here!"

If Kardashian has any gripe, it would be that Ciara didn't mention the Christian-based principle underlying their vow of celibacy because Christians are supposed to share their faith.

But then, Kardashian and Christianity aren't words often used together.
