Kevin Durant, the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar, has reacted to speculations that he will leave his team to join the Houston Rockets three years from now as shared by ESPN analyst Jalen Rose.

Predictably, the mild-mannered Durant dismissed Rose's speculation saying that he loves to play for the Thunder and representing Oklahoma City, one of the smallest markets in the NBA yet home of one of the youngest and most promising teams in all of basketball.

In an article published by The Oklahoman, Durant said that he heard Rose's speculation that he will leave the Thunder after his deal expires in 2016 to join forces with All-Stars Dwight Howard and James Harden, a former teammate and one of his closest friends in the league.

"I'm here for the Thunder. I mean, that's all I can say. I'm not thinking far down the line at all. It's about today. Today we got better against the Chicago Bulls. I can't tell the future. I can't speak on that. That's his opinion. I'm just going to keep playing for the Thunder. I love playing here," Durant was reported as saying.

The 25-year old superstar said he has yet to think that far and reiterated his desire to playing with his teammates. He added: "I love where I live. I love playing for this organization. So I'm just taking it a day at a time."

Durant has played his entire career with the Thunder, which as the then-Seattle Supersonics, drafted him as the second overall pick in 2007 behind Greg Oden.
