FC Barcelona are still comfortably ahead in the 2015-16 Spanish La Liga title race and they will look to sustain their momentum in Week 27 of competition.

FC Barcelona extended their winning run on Sunday with a hard-earned 2-1 win over Sevilla at Camp Nou, which was their 34th consecutive victory in all competitions.

Leicester City To Face West Brom; Manchester City To Collide With Liverpool

The Catalan club were threatened early in the match after Vitolo gave Sevilla FC the lead in the 20th minute. Good thing for the defending champions, reigning Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi scored the equalizer in the 31st minute, while Gerard Pique made it 2-1 in the 48th minute, which eventually became the game-winning strike for Barca.

With the victory, FC Barcelona kept their lead in the title race. They are currently eight points ahead of Atletico Madrid and 12 points clear of rival Real Madrid. Barca will resume their push for the title on Thursday, when they travel to Estadio de Vallecas to face Rayo Vallecano.
