Gisele Bundchen Contact Divorce Lawyer During Deflategate Mess Involving Tom Brady
Rumors of strife surfaced last summer as Brady was dealing with a four-game suspension for his involvement in Deflategate that occurred during the 2015 AFC Championship Game between Brady's New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts.
In September, reports surfaced that the supermodel contacted a divorce lawyer over the strain Deflategate had put on their relationship.
OK Magazine reported over the summer that the couple had been fighting for weeks leading up to his birthday on Aug. 3 and that the two had a blowout argument during his birthday celebration dinner.
While acknowledging that Brady had become very nasty and irritable and started acting out on her," as a result of the stress Deflategate had cause the Patriots quarterback, US Weekly also reported that the couple did not celebrate their summer birthdays together.
Meanwhile, Brady heads back to court Thursday as the NFL makes its appeal to a three-judge panel over Judge Richard S. Berman overturning the suspension the league handed the quarterback, based on three reasons.
"The Award is premised upon several significant legal deficiencies, including (A) inadequate notice to Brady of both his potential discipline (four-game suspension) and his alleged misconduct; (B) denial of the opportunity for Brady to examine one of two lead investigators, namely NFL Executive Vice President and General Counsel Jeff Pash; and (C) denial of equal access to investigative files, including witness interview notes," the filing read, according to a USA Today Sports report in September.
