Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is famous for his sideline interviews, mostly because he tortures the TNT reporters with unnecessarily curt, hostile answers. Tuesday night was no different during San Antonio’s game vs. the Heat.
Here’s Coach Pop’s answer when asked for his impressions of the first quarter. “They’re behind, and we’re ahead.” When asked to elaborate, he said “They scored more points than we did.” Not particularly helpful to TNT’s David Aldridge, but that was also not the notable portion of their interaction.

Aldridge, looking for anything useful, asked Popovich if he wanted election results from the New Hampshire primaries. Popovich surprisingly seemed interested. When informed Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump won big for the Democrats and Republicans, respectively, he stared blankly at Aldridge for four seconds before comically shaking his head. Watch the whole encounter, because it’s absolute gold.
