The debate about who is the best soccer player in the world is neverending. Is It Barcelona’s Lionel Messi? Or Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo? Who knows overall, but this past year, it was Messi.

Think that burned Ronaldo up? Well what about Messi one-upping Ronaldo off the pitch as well? Messi reportedly outbid Ronaldo for a 1957 Ferrari 335 S Spider Scaglietti, dropping a cool €32 million Euros, and beating out Ronaldo in the process. It’s believed to be the world’s most expensive car, and it’s now in Messi’s garage. Probaby. The Spanish newspaper Sport speculated that Messi is the new owner, but would not confirm it.
“The buyer has remained anonymous, but claims suggest it could be Messi, according to a press release published by the Italian’s company,”Sport reported. “Proto Organisation also say Cristiano Ronaldo was interested in the car (which was driven by Sterling Moss in the Cuban Grand Prix in 1958), but Messi won the bidding.”
Sport also wrote that sources close to Messi are denying that he won the bidding.
