The finals of the 2016 Caribbean Series are set, as Mexico (Venados de Mazatlán) meet Venezuela (Tigres de Aragua) on Sunday.

The winter series has been a relative breeze for Mexico. Led by coach Juan Jose Pacho, the team has won all five of its games -- the latest a 7-2 victory over Cuba in the semifinals. Mexico remains the only unblemished team left in the tournament.

Venezuela's had similar success, with the only loss coming to Mexico on Feb. 3. They'll look to overturn a 6-4 result to claim the 2016 title.

What They're Saying

Venezuela outfielder Jose Martinez (via Fox Sports): "We are doing this to bring happiness to the people of the Tigers and all Venezuela. We are going for the championship. In the first games, we didn't do what we wanted to accomplish offensively. [On Saturday], we saw what we are capable of doing.''

Mexico head coach Juan Jose Pacho (via New York Times): "It wasn't a pretty game [against Cuba], but we did what we had to do and came away with the win."
