Nikki Bella is "fearless" enough to show her Instagram followers what she's been through.

The WWE Diva may be beautiful, but her post-surgery scar is pretty gruesome. Bella took to her social media accounts to share a photo of her injury after her neck surgery, and she's aptly calling the marking a "warrior wound."

Bella underwent the procedure on her neck last Thursday to repair bulging discs, and Wednesday marked the first time the longest-Divas Champion in WWE history publicly shared images of her wound.

Brie Bella Thrust Into Spotlight After Nikki's Injury

At first, it was uncertain whether or not she would ever be able to return to the ring, but her twin sister Brie revealed Monday that she will "eventually" make a comeback. Bella will miss at the minimum three to four months of action as she recuperates from the injury, meaning she won't be a part of WrestleMania 32 on April 3.

It was an up and down year for Bella in 2015 as she set a record by holding the Divas Championship for 301 days before being booked to drop it to Charlotte at Night of Champions in September. The two had a rematch at Hell in a Cell in October, which Nikki lost, in what was the Diva's last match to date.

It wasn't known how serious her predicament was at first, but after the two-time Divas Champion got it checked out, she knew it was the right time to have the surgery despite the risk of her never being able to compete again.

Now the long countdown is on for Bella to return, but as Wednesday's post suggests, she'll keep her fans in the loop via social media on her road to recovery.
