Dez Bryant seems to be getting inspiration from Terrell Owens, who recently became a Hall of Fame candidate.

Bolster a solid career with some outlandish remarks and that can lead to self-promotion that will get you to go far.

Interest In Free Agent Greg Hardy Will Reveal How Hypocritical NFL Is

The Dallas wide receiver said he believes the 2015 Cowboys made strides in getting the franchise to its first Super Bowl title since 1996, according to CBS Sports.

"I'll tell you this -- every year you have a chance to go to the Super Bowl," Bryant told CBS Sports. "I honestly think we have moved a step closer even though our record doesn't show it. I still think we're a damn good football team and we had an unfortunate situation no one could do anything about. I think right now we had an opportunity to get our mind right and understand what we have at stake."

Cowboys May Be Losing Interest In Johnny Manziel, RG3

Bryant broke his foot in the Cowboys' season opener and missed six games before returning in Week 8 against the Seahawks. For the season, Dallas' No. 1 receiver, who said the foot injury bothered him even during his return, had just 31 receptions for 401 yards and three touchdowns.

Dez also had multiple drops -- hey, just like T.O.! -- when he returned.

The Cowboys beat a Giants team that self-destructed in the season opener and an Eagles team that had zero cohesion in Week 2 to start the season before Romo followed Bryant to the injury list with a multiple-week shoulder injury.

Dallas only managed two wins the rest of the way, finishing with a 4-12 record. Bryant has a lot of confidence in his quarterback and himself to believe that a healthy duo would've been the difference between finishing last in the NFC East and making the Super Bowl.

Bryant posted a comment on his Instagram account, revealing that his injury affecting his game.

"I'm not going to make excuses about my performance in 2015 because I chose to play knowing what I was dealing with..a Broken foot to be exact.. A lot of people have memory issues..so let me explain what you are dealing with while playing in the national football league dealing with a injury like that.. It messes with you mentally plain and simple. ..."

Bryant went on to assure his fans he was healing properly and was impatient for the 2016 season to come. Maybe by then the Cowboys will have rediscovered its rushing attack from 2014 and get better protection from the line so that Romo doesn't go down twice in the same season.
