All those "Jared Goff to Cleveland" rumors can simmer down a bit. Carson Wentz threw his name into the discussion on Saturday.

The QB finished 6-of-10 for 50 yards in the South's 27-16 victory over the North in the 2016 Senior Bowl. Hardly an eye-popping stat line, but it was his moxy in the pocket that dazzled NFL scouts.

"Wentz is more prototypical than most quarterbacks," Oakland Raiders scout Raleigh McKenzie said, per the Houston Chronicle. "He's got the size. He can make all the throws. He's a mobile guy. He's got the athleticism.

"He's got everything people are looking for."

Russ Lade, a former Browns and Rams scout added: "The release quickness, explosion of the football coming out of his hand, the way it looks when it's getting to the perfect spot, it's remarkable. He's clearly a level above everybody else here. If you saw his college film, this confirms the size, arm strength and athleticism.

"To me, it's a slam dunk. He's the best quarterback I've seen this year."

He's enough of a slam dunk for the Browns to select him No. 2 overall, per Fox Sports. He just has to continue to prove it at the NFL Combine and North Dakota State's Pro Day.
