The NBA All-Star reserves were announced on Thursday. Kristaps Porzingis was left off the main event’s roster, much to the chagrin of anyone who has a bank account.
The Knicks rookie -- who will participate in the Rising Stars Challenge -- is averaging 14 points and 7.8 rebounds entering the break. Perhaps more importantly, he has the No. 4 selling jersey in the NBA. Far be it for anyone to tell the NBA how to run a meaningless exhibition, but you want your most marketable stars present at all costs.
Jeff Teague Key For Knicks Playoff Push
Having the No. 4 selling jersey is 'unbelievable' to Kristaps Porzingis: "It’s a dream come true to see that many people wearing my jersey."

Unlike Paul Millsap, people are actually willing to pay money to see him.
Porzingis isn’t the only NBA star who was unjustly left off the reserves list.

Below are the three biggest snubs alongside him.
Dirk Nowitzki
Speaking of players people are willing to pay money to see, Dirk Nowitzki didn’t get any love from the coaches. Despite his age (37), Nowitzki is draining 40 percent of his threes while averaging 17.6 points per game.

Damian Lillard
Damian Lillard’s numbers speak for themselves.
Blazers G Damian Lillard was not a West All-Star reserve despite averages of 24.3 points & 7.1 assists, but could be atop replacement list.

At least he’s getting used to it.
This 2016 Damian Lillard All Star snub is the worst snub since the 2015 Damian Lillard All Star snub.

Pau Gasol
The NBA is touting All-Star 2016 as an international affair, yet excluded one of the greatest international players in league history.
In 42 starts with the Bulls, Pau Gasol is averaging 16.6 points and 10.9 rebounds.
Also, Pau Gasol should have been picked ahead of Chris Bosh & John Wall. Thankfully, they got Isaiah Thomas right.
