Contrary to popular belief, LeBron James isn't the head coach, general manager nor owner of the Cavaliers. He didn't have a hand in the firing of head coach David Blatt.

James "didn't know this was coming" before general manager David Griffin gathered the players at the practice facility to inform them that Blatt had been fired, per ESPN. Like most, he was surprised with the news.

Possible Places To Trade Kevin Love

"I found out about it just like every other player on this team at 3:30 yesterday," James said. "I think [Griffin] was right on everything he said. ... Like it or love it or hate it, we got to respect it.

"For me, I can't get caught up and worried about what other people are thinking. I stopped doing that a long time ago in my career. ... The only thing I can worry about is how I can get these guys better prepared and we can play better basketball."

What "other people are thinking," of course, is that James did have a hand in Cleveland's decision.

Either way, James and the Cavaliers will face the remainder of the NBA season under the guidance of Tyronn Lue.

They return to the court Saturday night against the Bulls.
