Donald Trump, the leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, is currently one of the most polarizing people in the world, is decidedly less controversial within the UFC. Another major figure in MMA has given an endorsement – kind of – to the man who promises to “Make America Great Again.”
UFC women’s bantamweight Holly Holm, who scored possibly the biggest upset in UFC history by knocking out Ronda Rousey, is in Trump’s corner.
“He seems to get stuff done,” Holm said. She joins UFC Dana White in his effusive praise for the billionaire candidate. White said that Trump was one of the biggest supporters of UFC when the company was beginning to boom.
"When we first bought this business, it was banned in most states, it wasn't supported by the ACs, and no arenas wanted this thing. Donald Trump was the first one to have us come out at the Trump Taj Mahal. Not only did we host the events there, he actually showed up and supported the events. You will never hear me say a negative thing about Donald Trump,” White said.
Holly Holm On Rousey's Eagerness For A Rematch: 'Whatever'
Trump has returned the love.
Getting the support of @DanaWhite of UFC means a lot. A total winner, who has done an amazing job. Just ordered his fight to watch tonight!

One person does not have much love for “The Donald,” and her name is Ronda Rousey. She said she wouldn’t trust Trump to run the country, and when she lost to Holm he was all over her.
Glad to see that @RondaRousey lost her championship fight last night. Was soundly beaten - not a nice person!

Perhaps it’s Rousey who needs to fall in line.
