Ronda Rousey? Whatever.

That's the attitude stemming from current UFC women's bantamweight champion Holly Holm, according to Fox Sports.

Holm said her focus is and should be on challenger Miesha Tate for their upcoming UFC 197 championship bout in March. As for the former champion, whom Holm knocked out in a one-sided match in Australia in November, Holm had an almost dismissive tone.

"So if Ronda wants to fight, awesome," Holm said, speaking at a news conference to promote her upcoming fight against Tate. "If she wants to go onto different avenues of her life, great.

"Whatever."

Dana White Eats Crow In Rescinding Rematch Between Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm

Rousey recently confirmed that she does want a rematch against Holm in an interview with TMZ Sports. She also recently tagged a new NSFW message on her Instagram account that shows her edge that made her the most famous person in the UFC in the first place has returned, according to CBS Sports.

Holly Holm Has Doubts Whether Ronda Rousey Wants Rematch

But Rousey is now involved in three movie projects, along with a guest host appearance of "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.

Rousey's pursuit of an acting career is the reason for Holm's rationale.

"I think that I would rather meet someone in the cage when they're passionate about it. I don't want it to be because they feel like they have to or it's expected or other people are curious about it. It's Ronda's life, I want her to do what she wants to do."

To be sure, Rousey seems to be taking the unusual approach of trying to continue to pursue dual careers. Rather than put her acting career on hold to focus on her rematch against Holm, Rousey is taking on more acting opportunities.

She was badly outclassed in their first meeting, however. If she and her handlers are focusing on how to be better prepared for Holm in their rematch, she is doing an outstanding job of hiding it.

Rousey may be exhibiting the same bravado she had before the first Holm fight and simply believe she just has to fight a smarter fight the next time without changing her style.

Whatever.
