Adam Gase -- who spent last season as an offensive coordinator with the Bears -- is the latest head coach pegged with doing something no coach has been able to do since Don Shula … actually win something in Miami.
The Dolphins have just one playoff appearance since 2001. Some players on their roster don’t exactly have the moxy to fix that.
Tom Coughlin Was Never The Right Choice For The Dolphins
Below is a complete list of players Miami should sever ties with in 2016.
Brent Grimes, CB
Brent Grimes isn’t a problem, it’s his wife that’s become a toxin in the Dolphins locker room.
Ryan Tannehill Finally Behaving Like A Franchise QB Worth Paying For
Rather than blame the culture in Miami, she decided to blame Ryan Tannehill for the team’s woes.

Cutting Grimes would provide the Dolphins with $6 million in cap relief. That’s a hefty amount worth considering in place for a soon-to-be 33-year-old veteran.
Greg Jennings, WR
Greg Jennings was thought to be the savvy veteran that would help develop Tannehill’s game in 2015.
Instead, he was an aging WR that only managed to catch 19 balls for 208 yards and one TD. With the emergence of Jarvis Landry and Devante Parker, the Dolphins are better off getting younger at the position.
Dion Jordan, DE
The Dolphins invested two draft picks to move up to acquire Dion Jordan in 2013.
He’s only rewarded them with three sacks since.
Jordan was suspended for the entire 2015 season for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substance policy for a third time. The NFL gave him a third strike. Miami should follow suit.
