Tim Tebow was recently spotted in a Cleveland airport, fueling rumors the free agent quarterback may now be on the quarterback-needy Browns' radar.
According to Football.com, Browns GM Mike Lombardi has previously praised Tebow as a gamer, and with incumbents Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell now both struggling some have speculated the team may be open to turning to the former Heisman Trophy winner.
If any of all the recent Tebow speculation proves to be accurate, the Browns may find themselves facing stiffer competition than they once imagined. While stressing the team needs a lot more than just Tebow, Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shalid Khan recently told reporters he isn't completely opposed to adding the veteran quarterback to the roster.
Several media outlets have since reported Tebow will "receive a shot" to play quarterback for the Jaguars. Jacksonville fans have lobbied hard all season for the team to give Tebow a try under center in the same state where he once starred collegiately and won the Heisman in 2007
Tebow, who has previously played for the Broncos and Jets, was cut in training camp by Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots. His best NFL season came with the Broncos in 2011 when he started 11 games and threw for 1,729 yards and 12 touchdowns.
