Danica Patrick can’t win a NASCAR race to save her life, so why not give curling a try?

The NASCAR star hit the ice Tuesday night to try her hand at the sport. For those unfamiliar with curling, it’s a game played on ice in which large, round, flat stones are slid across the surface toward a mark. Members of a team use brooms to sweep the surface of the ice in the path of the stone to control its speed and direction.

It looks as dumb as it sounds, which explains Patrick’s not-so-ringing endorsement.

No one’s ever used “kinda” to characterize their desire for something.

At least Rich Smith had a better time.

Admittedly, Patrick isn’t about to forgo the millions of dollars she makes racing for a sport nobody cares about outside the Winter Olympics.

Her next opportunity to extend her winless NASCAR streak comes on Feb. 13 at Daytona International Speedway.
