If Roman Reigns escapes the Royal Rumble on Sunday with his belt intact, he's willing to fight his family.

The reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion said he is open to battling his cousin, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, should the situation ever arise. The Rock is a part-time WWE performer, but, as Reigns pointed out, his face is the money maker in his booming Hollywood career.

"I expect The Rock would want to keep his pretty face intact for Hollywood," Reigns told the Times of India when discussing a potential clash. "He better stay away from me in the ring. But honestly, anybody who wants to get into the ring with me and take the world title, just try."

It's unknown when The Rock will return to action, but Reigns was fielding a question about possibly battling "The People's Champion" at WrestleMania 32 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The biggest spectacle of 2016 emanates live from AT&T Stadium in Texas on April 3.

WWE Should Lift Hulk Hogan's Ban At WrestleMania 32

While a clash pitting Reigns against The Rock would be great given their history and deep family background in wrestling, it's unlikely to occur at the "Show of Shows." Due to his movie schedule, "The Great One" is unlikely to compete at WrestleMania because he doesn't want to risk an injury.

However, things could change and anything is possible in the realm of the WWE. The Rock already announced last month that he will be a part of WrestleMania 32 in some capacity, though the specifics have been kept under wraps.

Whether or not the WWE heads into its marquee event with Reigns as its champion is a huge question mark. For the first time in history, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion will defend his gold against 29 other guys in the Royal Rumble Match, this Sunday night in Florida.

Until Reigns emerges from that bout victorious, he must put away dreams of possibly battling The Rock for the richest prize in the game at WrestleMania.
