The Rams have already made waves by announcing a move back to Los Angeles, but things could be even better with the additon of Tebowmania -- at least according to one NBA player.

Lakers star Metta World Peace said he was happy to hear that the Rams are returning to L.A. for the first time since 1994 and will be playing in the same area as his current team.

"Shout out the Rams, L.A., they deserve it," World Peace told TMZ. "Good luck to those guys."

World Peace balked at hopping on board as a Rams fan and said he would only root for the team on one condition: they bring along Tim Tebow.

Tim Tebow Could Land College Coaching Gig

"I'm Tebow forever," World Peace said. "It's wherever Tebow's at. He's nowhere right now. I'm a Jets fan."

Well if the Rams want World Peace on their side, all they have to do is sign the former Heisman Trophy winner. Tebow has played for the Broncos, Jets, Patriots and Eagles, but after being cut by Philadelphia in September, he hasn't been employed in the NFL.

The Rams finished 7-9 last season, missing the playoffs for the 11th straight year, so maybe bringing on Tebow isn't such a bad idea.

Nick Foles threw more interceptions (10) than touchdowns (7) this season, and while Case Keenum is expected to be the starter next season, adding Tebow to the mix could provide options heading into next season.
