Khloe Kardashian's path to giving an update on Lamar Odom was filled with roadblocks.

The reality star planned to fly from Los Angeles to New York for a "Good Morning America" appearance Tuesday night, but her flight had to make an emergency landing.

Kardashian ended up being stuck in Las Vegas, whiched trapped her in Nevada, the same state where Odom nearly died of a drug overdose at a brothel in October. The flight to New York was then canceled, and she returned to L.A.

During her down time at the airport, Kardashian FaceTimed with Kris Jenner and posted a tweet of her sipping coctails with her makeup artist Joyce Bonelli. Kardahian's new show, "Kocktails with Khloe," is set to air Jan. 20.

Eventually, the reality star made it to New York City for an appearance on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, where she shared an update on Odom's status.

"He is doing really well," Kardashian told the show. "He's finally out of the hospital, he's doing great, but it's a long journey."

Kardashian, who called the former NBA star a "fighter," also said she's living every day as it comes and isn't looking too far ahead.

"2016 is a good year," she said. "My talk show is coming out and we're leaving all of the hospital stuff in 2015 and this year is going to be good and positive."

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star also touched on how they were told Odom only had hours to live when she first got to the hospital after the overdose. After the turnaround, Kardashian appeared confident in Odom's road to recovery.

"It's a long journey, it will be a long journey," Kardashian said. "But as long as he's willing to fight it and willing to better himself, it's all I could ask for."

Kardashian's road to the appearance may have been harrowing, but at least she had some good news about her husband.
