It's official, Sting will achieve wrestling's highest honor when he's inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on the eve of WrestleMania.

"The Vigilante" is well deserving of the honor, after being the face of WCW, getting enshrined in the TNA Hall of Fame and finally jumping over to the WWE. Sting is a six-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and won TNA's biggest title five times in his career.

Hall Of Fame Induction Could Spell The End Of Sting's Career

He finally reached the pinnacle of wrestling when he jumped over to Vince McMahon's company in November 2014. Though his time in the ring for the WWE was short-lived and he suffered two big losses to Triple H (WrestleMania 31) and Seth Rollins (Night of Champions), his career would have felt incomplete without a stop in the WWE.

The company revealed Sting as the headliner for its Hall of Fame ceremony on April 2, and here are the potential candidates to induct him into the Hall.

Candidates To Dethrone Roman Reigns In Royal Rumble Match

1) Ric Flair

"The Nature Boy" had many wars with Sting throughout the years and the two changed the shape of professional wrestling for years together. Though they are mostly known for their in-ring rivalry, the two legends share an unbreakable bond outside of the ring and Flair is the early favorite to welcome Sting into the Hall of Fame. The two engaged in several wars throughout the years, including the final match in the history of WCW Nitro.

2) Triple H

"The Game" was one of the keys to getting Sting to join the WWE in the first place, and he may be the man to induct the face painted Superstar if Flair doesn't do the honors. Triple H also has the distinction of facing Sting in "The Icon's" first WWE match at WrestleMania 31 last March. Though the decision to have the COO go over Sting is a heavily-debated topic, seeing the face of WCW in a WWE ring at the company's marquee event felt right, regardless of the booked outcome.

3) The Undertaker

The respect shared between both of these Texas natives is almost unparalleled, so if someone from the WWE other than Flair is going to induct Sting, the "Demon from Death Valley" makes sense. There have always been rumors that they will cross paths, yet the two wrestling legends haven't until this point. If the WWE books a retirement match for both men at WrestleMania 32, having 'Taker induct Sting the night before they finally clash in their final bouts would be quite the storyline.
