DeSean Jackson is still bitter about how things ended with the Eagles in 2014, but he should be thankful instead.

The Washington WR was asked about Chip Kelly's firing on MMQB. Needless to say, he wasn't surprised to see Kelly go.

Kirk Cousins Leads The 2016 NFL Free Agent Class

"I'm a firm believer that bad karma comes back on you," Jackson said. "When you ruin a team like that, you do things to peoples' families, you release people, you trade people, you get rid of good players who build something with the community, with the fans, with the kids-to have a guy come in and change up the team like that, I just believe in karma. I don't have any bad words to say about him as far as what he feels he needs on his roster. But the guys that were on that roster created something special, from Jeremy Maclin to LeSean McCoy to Trent Cole to Todd Herremans and myself and Brandon Boykin; it goes on and on and on.

"When we were there, we were a brotherhood. So for everyone to go their separate ways and to see how it all ended up, it's a very sad thing."

The Texans Should Trade For RG3

A "very sad thing" that turned into a very good thing for Jackson in Washington.

The eight-year veteran -- who missed most of the season with a hamstring injury -- failed to reach 1,000 yards receiving for the first time since 2012, but was productive nonetheless. Jackson finished with 528 yards and four TDs in just half-a-season's work.

Outside of Jordan Matthews -- who caught 85 balls for 997 yards and eight TDs -- no other Eagles WR surpassed 330 yards receiving.

That's the difference in catching a pass from Sam Bradford and Kirk Cousins. That's the life Jackson's been blessed with in 2015 and beyond.
