Goran Dragic's frustration is growing amid a disappointing season with the Heat. The Knicks are in need of backcourt help.
It's a match made in heaven.
The Knicks Should Consider Bringing Jeremy Lin Back
Dragic -- who landed in Miami via a trade in Feb. 2015 -- is averaging just 11.6 points in his first full season with the Heat. Should that trend continue, it'll be his lowest since 2011 (7.7). Even Dragic's player efficiency rating has dipped from 17.47 to 13.28, per ESPN.
SI.com's Rohan Nadkarni attributes his struggles to a square peg in a round hole.
Kristaps Porzingis Belongs At NBA All-Star Game
"The Dragic-Wade pairing doesn't appear to fit on paper," he wrote. "Both need the ball in their hands to be successful, and Wade neither runs nor shoots threes like Dragic's running mates in Phoenix.
Heat should trade Dragic. He doesn't fit their system

Admittedly, that sounds eerily similar to any partnership involving Carmelo Anthony, but there's another partnership that would suit Dragic in New York -- one that involves Kristaps Porzingis.
Slovenian and Latvian would unite to create the NBA's most devastating pick-and-pop game since Dragic ran the court with Channing Frye in Phoenix.

For a Knicks team at 15-18 struggling to remain relevant in the Eastern Conference, it's an option worth considering before the deadline.
