Two of the NHL's oldest rivals will take their feud outdoors to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. on Friday. Cameras have been chronicling both teams' journeys to the game, and thus far, it's been slightly better for the Bruins than the Canadiens.

Boston has dropped three of four, but won four of its last seven, while Montreal just endured a lengthy six-game losing streak and has lost seven of its last eight. Entering this week's episode, the Canadiens (45 points) are in second place, while the Bruins (44) are in third. Both teams trail the surging Panthers (46), who have won seven straight.

Episode 2 Recap

--Max Pacioretty is unhappy. The Canadiens captain laid into his team during a poor effort against Dallas in which the team lost 6-2 amid its losing streak. F-bombs were everywhere.

--Adam McQuaid is tough. The Bruins defenseman took a puck to the chin against the Penguins during last week's episode and received 12 stitches to close it up before returning.

--Brendan Gallagher has a man crush on Andy Dalton. The injured Canadiens forward face-timed the Bengals quarterback and pretty much fan-girled out.

--Jimmy Hayes' dad is creative. The Bruins forward has a brother, Kevin, who plays for the Rangers, so their father, Kevin Sr. stitched a Bruins and Rangers jersey together with 'Hayes' on the back.
