Eric Decker's wife is madly in love with him, but he isn't the only receiver getting praise from Jessie James Decker.
The Jets won their fifth straight game Sunday, a 26-20 overtime thriller, against the Patriots, and Decker and fellow receiver Brandon Marshall were in the thick of things as usual. Marshall caught two touchdown passes in the game, while Decker reached the end zone on a six-yard pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick with 12:23 remaining in overtime to seal the game.
Jessie James Decker Reveals Weird 'Manscaping' Habit
After the win, Jessie James praised the Jets dynamic duo on Instagram.
Sunday's game marked the eighth time this season that Decker and Marshall each caught a touchdown pass in the same game, the most times that has occurred by teammates in NFL history, according to ESPN. The Jets were given a break when the Patriots won the overtime coin toss, but Bill Belichick elected to kick in a strange move that led to New York winning on the opening drive of the extra frame.
Todd Bowles Suddenly Acting Like Rex Ryan
Marshall made Jets franchise history as well Sunday, surpassing Al Toon's single-season mark of 93 receptions in 1988 to become New York's all-time leader for catches in a single season.
Marshall has 101 receptions, becoming the first player in NFL history to record six 100-catch seasons, according to ESPN, while he also has 13 touchdowns, tying him for second in the league.
Decker, meanwhile, is enjoying way more success in his second year with the Jets than his first campaign now that Marshall is in the fold. The receiver has 11 touchdowns and 75 receptions.
With the win, the Jets now control their own destiny and could make the playoffs for the first time since the 2010-11 season with a victory over former coach Rex Ryan and the Bills next Sunday. New York could also advance if Pittsburgh loses to Cleveland next week or if Denver falls to Cincinnati on Monday and then again to San Diego in Week 17.
Jessie James has reason to celebrate and though her time in New York hasn't always been enjoyable, she's singing the praises of the Jets dynamic receiving corps this season.
