Josh Norman denies aiming a gay slur at Odell Beckham Jr. on Sunday. The rest of the NFL can't ... not according to Michael Irvin.

The former Cowboys WR revealed on Tuesday that Beckham Jr. has been dealing with gay slurs every week this year.

The Worst Calls In The NFL This Season

"He deals with it a lot," Irvin said, per New York Post. "For some reason, everybody goes after him with gay slurs.

"He's a different kind of dude. He has the hairdo out, he's not the big muscular kind of dude. The ladies all love him. He's a star. I wonder why people are going in that direction. It blows my mind. I told him he can't let stuff that people say get to you."

Odell Beckham Jr. Should've Been Benched On Sunday

Beckham Jr. clearly didn't take that advice on Sunday.

Irvin's assessment of Beckham Jr. couldn't be more accurate. He is "a different kind of dude."

The 23-year-old isn't built like a Calvin Johnson. At 6'0", he isn't towering over anyone on the line of scrimmage, either.

His hair is easy to mock.

His soccer background is also unparalleled, being asked to try out for the U.S. men's national team when he was a teenager, per NJ.com.

In society, it's just enough to be considered a "hipster." But in the rough-and-tough culture of the NFL -- where domestic violence is as common as a concussion -- it's more than enough to be subjected to homophobic slurs.
