Seth Rollins was rightfully crowned the 2015 Superstar of the Year on this week's Slammy Awards edition of Monday Night RAW.

Early Picks To Win The Royal Rumble Match

"The Architect" came out on crutches to accept the honor after having an amazing year inside the squared circle get cut short by a devastating knee injury. Rollins won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in 2015 and also had a run with the United States Championship before he was sidelined in November.

In honor of the Superstar of the Year, here are the five best moments from Rollins in 2015.

Roman Reigns Has Plenty Of Options For Royal Rumble Opponent

5) Stealing The 'Show of Shows'

Prior to the shocking conclusion of WrestleMania 31 (more on that later), Rollins took on Randy Orton in a singles match in the middle of the card. "The Viper" and "The Architect" put on an unbelievable match, which saw Orton reverse the Curb Stomp into an RKO for one of the most jaw-dropping finishes of the year.

4) A Stinging Rivalry

One of the most interesting feuds of the year was a match many thought they'd never see. Rollins, 29, went head-to-head with wrestling legend Sting, 56, at Night of Champions in September. Though the match fell short of being a classic due to "The Vigilante's" legitimate neck injury cutting it short, it was great to see the blend of youth and veteran experience in the middle of the ring.

3) Rumbling In Philly

An early Match of the Year candidate took place when Rollins took on WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and John Cena in a Triple Threat Match for the gold at the Royal Rumble. This match was frantic, non-stop action and put Rollins on the map as a legitimate superstar. It may have even led to the WWE trusting him enough to carry the title two months later. Rollins fell victim to an F-5 and lost the match, but he gained a ton of credibility.

2) Champion Of Champions

Rollins put his WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line against the face of the franchise, John Cena, and his United States Championship at SummerSlam in August. The match was tremendous as the "Cenation" leader had a distinguished 2015 in the ring and Rollins is always game to try and steal the show. The ending was a bit much, with special guest host Jon Stewart hitting Cena with a steel chair, enabling Rollins to win both belts. Still, it was a crowning moment for "The Architect," who became the first man to ever hold the WWE World Heavyweight and U.S. belts simultaneously.

1) 'The Architect's' Heist

One of the most shocking and greatest moments in history occurred at WrestleMania 31. With Lesnar and Roman Reigns battling for the richest prize in the game in the main event, Rollins was booked to cash-in his Money in the Bank contract to make it a Triple Threat Match. Rollins then pinned Reigns to capture the belt for the first time in his career, launching a 221-day reign as champion. The win put Rollins on the map and led to him eventually becoming Superstar of the Year.
