Matthew Stafford gets paid millions of dollars to play in the NFL, but it doesn't seem to be enough for his wife.

Kelly Stafford has come under fire on social media after she placed five tickets to the "Monday Night Football" showdown between her husband's Lions and the Saints in New Orleans up for sale on StubHub.

Kelly, whose husband has made nearly $100 million to play a game, received a lot of backlash from fans for putting the seats, in sections 113 and 114 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, up for sale instead of giving them away.

The blonde bombshell was in no mood to take criticism from fans.

"I bought those New Orleans tickets to take my family to the game, but found out at the beginning of this week my grandfather is very ill so I am going home to see him instead," Kelly fired back, according to TMZ. "I'm also sorry for being HUMAN and wanting to sell the tickets we purchased because we are not able to go."

To be fair, Matthew has worked a lot with charities and tried to make the city of Detroit a better place, though his wife was quick to remind everyone of that.

"We do a lot for this community and I'm beyond tired of getting badgered for this ... get over yourselves," Kelly wrote.

The backlash wasn't totally unwarranted. In 2013, the quarterback inked a three-year extension that netted him $53 million, with $41 million guaranteed, over his existing deal that still had $23.5 million left on it.

After being drafted first overall in 2009, Stafford signed a six-year, $78 million pact with $41.7 million in guarantees. In all, he's made nearly $100 million in his career, so it seems his wife could maybe afford to give some tickets to those who don't ever get to experience the NFL live and in person.

Kelly was selling each ticket for a jaw-dropping $200 for fans to see her husband's terrible Lions (4-9) battle the lowly Saints (5-8). This isn't the first time the signal caller's wife has caused a firestorm on social media as she lambasted the NFL officiating on two occasions this season.

Maybe Kelly needs to give the social media thing a little break for a while.
