As the old adage goes, “give the fans what they want.” LeBron James’ entire NBA career is a living embodiment of those words.

The four-time NBA MVP delivered on the court in the Cavaliers’ 89-77 victory over the Celtics on Tuesday. He finished with 24 points on 10-of-20 shooting with eight boards.

It was his performance off the court, however, that stole show.

During the game, James stopped by to chat with Aaron Miller, a 16-year-old who overcame brain damage and multiple surgeries to play on his high school’s basketball team, per NESN. He was named tournament MVP of the Greater Boston Basketball League in the spring.
