Having been called out by someone with 1.3 million followers, American Airlines had no choice but to respond.

Fortunately for Patrick, her bag wasn’t left stranded. She would eventually reach her destination with zero qualms.

The lesson, however, was already learned. No one -- not even NASCAR’s most notable female figure -- is exempt from the airlines’ painstakingly annoying guidelines.
