Tonight at 8:25 p.m. the Buffalo Bills (2-2) travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns (2-2) in a meaningful matchup between two teams expected to be planning their draft already. The game can be found on NFL Network, or live streamed free here. Bills fans can listen to the game on WGR 550 AM, while Browns fans can catch the radio broadcast on WONE 97.5.
The Browns have surprised most by ripping off two straight wins following the trade of star running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts. Following the T-Rich deal the Browns held a meeting, and have rallied behind quarterback Brian Hoyer, who stepped in for the injured Brando Weeden.
"The alternative is bad when you're 0-4 or 1/3 and fighting to try to get into the race," left tackle Joe Thomas said. "Sitting at 2-2, it's not where we wanted to be. But after an 0-2 start, it's as good as we could have done. Sitting there with a lot of games to go, but still fighting in the division. You can't ask for any more."
Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski praised Hoyer, saying, "He played well again (versus Baltimore) and for the past two weeks. Obviously, we've been able to win in those games and in a short week we'll get ready and be ready to play Thursday."
As for the Bills, they are battling injuries to both of their top running backs, however both expect to suit up. "If I can get to at least 85 to 90 (percent), I'm going to give it a go," Spiller said.
Jackson, who's been more effective than Spiller through four games also plans on playing. "Barring any major setback, I'll be able to play," Jackson said. "Right now it's just about strengthening it, doing some rehab type things to get the ligament stronger."
