Cristiano Ronaldo was named the most charitable athlete of 2015, according to DoSomething.org. Now, Kevin Durant is looking to follow in his footsteps.

The NBA all-star visited Positive Tomorrows -- a school for homeless children in Oklahoma City -- on Wednesday. For a small group of children looking for a reason to smile, Christmas came early. Durant was simply playing the role of Santa Claus.

This was the third time Durant visited Positive Tomorrows. Admittedly, $35,000 on your third visit is hardly donating $83,000 to pay for a child’s brain surgery. It isn’t $165,000 to fund a Portuguese cancer center.
It pales in comparison to the charitable work Ronaldo has done in his career, but it’s a 35,000 steps toward giving the Real Madrid star a run for his money in 2016.
