Tiger Woods is ranked No. 400 in the world, hasn't won a PGA Tour event since Aug. 4, 2013 (Bridgestone Invitational) and is still recovering from a third back procedure.
Apparently, Jack Nicklaus didn't get the memo.

Not only does the 18-time major champion think Woods' career is far from over, he still believes his majors record is in danger.
"He has always been a very focused young man with a great work ethic, and is tremendously talented," Nicklaus said, per CNN. "To count him out of that [the majors record] would be foolish. He certainly has a very good chance of doing that.
"I said to Tiger no one wants to see their records broken, but I would want you to be healthy."

Sitting 399 spots from where he used to be for a record 683 weeks, it doesn't seem likely. Turning 40 on Dec. 30 doesn't help his prospects, either.
The last PGA Tour member to win a major over the age of 40 was Darren Clarke in 2011 (PGA Championship). Since then, it's been a young man's game -- with Jason Day (28), Jordan Spieth (22) and Rory McIlroy (26) leading the way.
And yet, there's still belief in Woods' legend.
"I fully expect Tiger to return to come back to play well and be a good competitive force in the game, but it does make me sad to see Tiger or any of our athletes struggle with health," Nicklaus added. "I think Tiger has struggled a lot with his health of late, and nobody likes that."
