Rob Gronkowski has seen the light. Terrell Owens, on the other hand, is still blinded by it.
Gronkowski -- who was forced to leave the Patriots’ 30-24 OT loss with a bone bruise -- offered an injury report of his own on Bleacher Report’s UNINTERRUPTED.
Tom Brady Is A Horrible Father
“I am thankful that it is nothing serious,” Gronkowski said. “I love playing the game of football. Whenever it is taken away from you, you definitely get a feeling that you appreciate the game so much. I’m just week-to-week. I’ll be working hard to get back out on the field as soon as possible. When I am 100 percent, feeling good, cleared by all the doctors, the team, that is when I will be back.
“There’s no timetable for that. I’ll just be working hard and trying to get 100 percent as soon as possible. I can promise you that.”
The Brady-Manning Rivalry Was Overrated
That’s the sign of man who sees a future beyond football. There's no rush for the three-time Pro Bowler to return to the field. His health has taken precedence.
As for Owens, that’s another story altogether.
Despite being out of the game since 2012 -- where he lasted all of three weeks with the Seahawks -- the former WR is in desperate need of a comeback.
He even went as far as taking it to Instagram.

Crazy as it sounds, it’s somewhat of an option for New England. Especially with the way the injuries are mounting.

Tim Tebow can’t even play QB and he was still given a chance by Bill Belichick. There’s no harm in giving Owens the same.
