Ninety minutes, that's all that stands in Tigres UANL's way of advancing to the Liguilla semifinals. Well, that and a motivated Chipas side.

Tigres managed to escape the Estadio Universitario with a 2-1 victory in the first leg of this quarterfinal. A stunning goal from France international Andre-Pierre Gignac opened the affair in the 21st minute. Damian Alvarez secured the match-winner in the 84th minute.

Chiapas, however, are still the higher seed.

A one-goal victory of any kind will allow the club to advance past Tigres to the semifinals.

What They're Saying

Tigres UANL defender Jose Rivas (via Esto): "We have to be focused. We have to make sure we walk on that pitch fully concentrated. We know what we're up against tomorrow [Saturday]. We worked very hard to qualify for this tournament. That's always on our minds, so we have to give it our all."

Chiapas manager Ricardo La Volpe (via Esto): "When you arrive at a club, everyone has goals and objectives. Here [at Chiapas], everyone has one. We all want to achieve something great, but first we have to face Tigres -- a club that I respect so much for its organization. But we're looking to achieve our goals and we will not rest until we do."
