James Harden spent the Thanksgiving season giving back to families in need. Khloe Kardashian spent it, as usual, promoting herself and her family.

Two days before Turkey Day, the Rockets star and his mother, Monja Willis, hosted a Thanksgiving dinner to feed over 250 men, women and children a Tex Mex style feast, according to Houston's ABC affiliate. Kardashian, meanwhile, hosted a dinner for her attention-seeking family and documented the whole thing on Instagram.

Among the guests at the Kardashian clan's family feast were Kylie Jenner, her boyfriend Tyga (who she's had her fair share of issues with), Kourtney Kardashian, her estranged husband Scott Disick, Caitlyn Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kanye West and all of the Kardashian and Jenner girls.

One notable absence was Rob Kardashian, who has disappeared from the public eye and remains MIA, according to The Daily Mail.

Lamar Odom's Health A Total Distraction For James Harden, Rockets

Harden used his fame and fortune to team up with his mother and help others in need, while the Kardashians and Jenners flaunted their "blended" family on Thanksgiving Day.

"I'm blessed and fortunate to be in the position I'm in today," Harden said via the Atlanta ABC affiliate. "It's not so much the big things, but the little things that really matter like time, time you can give someone is the most valuable of all. Just spending time with her and my family is important."

Perhaps Harden's generosity is a sign that his relationship with Kardashian isn't the perfect match that it could be. After all, the basketball star currently has to put up with a love triangle involving his girlfriend and her sickly husband Lamar Odom.

The personal problems may be a contributing factor into Harden and the Rockets struggling on the court this season, which could be all the more reason for him to call it off.

Harden's biggest contribution on Thanksgiving was to help families in need, Khloe's was getting involved in a cook-off for the world to see on Twitter with Kylie Jenner. That pretty much says it all.
