With 17 fixtures behind them, Puebla and Toluca return to the pitch to face off in the quarterfinals of the Apertura Liguilla.
Toluca secured an all-important victory in Week 17. A 3-1 win over Monterrey ensured the club avoided Club America in the first round. A trip to Puebla was rewarded instead. Los Camoteros entered the season under the threat of relegation to Mexico's second division. Now, the club has grand visions of a Liga MX title.

What They're Saying
Puebla manager Pablo Marini (via Vavel): "We are very proud of the job we did [this season]. We are all united and we have to try and enjoy this Liguilla after missing out for so many years. It's even better that we're the only team that was battling relegation and qualified for the playoffs."
Toluca manager Jose Cardozo (via Anton): "It's going to be an important game for us. I think Puebla justly -- with hard work, desire, professionalism -- qualified for the Liguilla and obviously they're going to be a very tough opponent. So, we have to focus on ourselves first, try and play well.
