Joe Flacco has joined the laundry list of QBs who suffered an injury in 2015. Except this one is permanent, opening the door for Tim Tebow in Baltimore.
Flacco -- who suffered a torn ACL and possibly a torn MCL -- will miss the rest of the season. Fortunately the Ravens were able to escape with a 16-13 victory over the Rams, but much more was lost on the afternoon.
Tim Tebow A Better Choice For 'Sexiest Man' Than David Beckham
"It's just the nature of the game, man," Flacco said after the game, per NFL.com. "Stuff like this happens, so you've just got to stand tall and get through it."
The Ravens will now be forced to try and get through the year with Matt Schaub at QB.
Cowboys Cost Themselves The Playoffs By Not Signing Tebow
Ask the Texans how that finishes.
Unless, of course, they seek an alternative.

No risk for Ravens to sign and start Tebow. If he's a disaster, you've got the 1st pick - if he wins, he's trade bait when Flacco comes back

Ravens should sign Tebow, before their game vs CLE on MNF. Ratings would sky-rocket for ESPN; Manziel on Primetime & Tebow on the Ravens.

Only thing that could make me watch the next 6 games is if the Ravens signed Tebow

Start a Tebow chant #Ravens

It doesn’t even have to be at QB. RB Justin Forsett will also be forced to miss the rest of the season with a broken arm.
After all, it would be better PR than resigning Ray Rice.
