Kids say the darndest things. They also speak complete fact when talking about Cam Newton.

The Panthers QB was the subject of controversy after dancing in Carolina’s 27-10 victory over the Titans on Sunday. Rosemary Plorin -- the mother of a nine-year-old daughter in the stands that afternoon -- voiced her concern with Newton's "antics" in an open letter to the Charlotte Observer.

Why Cam Newton Is The Real MVP

It was as uptight as one could imagine.

“Because of where [my daughter and I] sat, we had a close up view of your conduct in the fourth quarter,” she wrote. “The chest puffs. The pelvic thrusts. The arrogant struts and the ‘in your face’ taunting of both the Titans’ players and fans.

“We saw it all."

Cam Newton Should Be Fined For Every INT He Throws

The pelvic thrusts?

The arrogant struts?

Obviously, Cam Newton failed to think of the children. Fortunately for all of us, Sports Channel 8 did.

Hayes Permar "tracked down" a child of similar age to learn more about his perspective on things.

The highlight came when the unnamed child asked the hard-hitting questions.

“So I’ve never seen Ben Roethlisberger does,” he began, “does that mean he’s a good role model?”

No, child, it doesn’t. Unfortunately, that’s Newton’s sad reality. Apparently, you can’t celebrate without being vilified.

Apparently, this is 1984 and we all live in Elmore City, Oklahoma.
