There is still plenty of season left to play out in the NFL, but it's never too early to project the playoffs.

In the NFC, there is plenty left to fight for, but it appears the unbeaten Panthers are on their way toward a playoff berth in the south, while the Vikings and Cardinals have put themselves in a great position midway through November. The NFC East remains up in the air as the Giants are holding down first place despite a pedestrian overall record.

Aaron Rodgers Should Blame Olivia Munn For Struggles

The Packers were a favorite to not only win the NFC North, but possibly have a deep run into their first Super Bowl appearance since 2010. After three straight losses, however, nothing is guaranteed for Green Bay.

Here is our projected seeding for the NFC playoff picture when all is said and done:

Eddie Lacy Is Biggest Fantasy Bust Of 2015

1) Panthers (9-0)

Carolina has been a great surprise this season and handed Tennessee a 27-10 defeat to remain unbeaten Sunday. The Panthers are third in the league with 139.7 rushing yards per game. Cam Newton has remained poised under center, throwing for 15 touchdowns and running for another six.

2) Cardinals (7-2)

If anyone doubted Arizona's ability, they were proven wrong when it went into Seattle and took down the Seahawks, 39-32, on Sunday. The Cardinals lead the NFL in total offense with 421.1 yards per game, while Carson Palmer (2,749) is third in the league in passing yards, Chris Johnson (734) is second in rushing yards and Larry Fitzgerald (836) is fifth in receiving yards.

3) Vikings (7-2)

Minnesota has had a breakout season with Teddy Bridgewater coming into his own in his sophomore campaign. Adrian Peterson has shown that 30 isn't always the falling off point for running backs, as he's rushed for 961 yards -- tops in the league.

4) Giants (5-5)

New York has had myriad problems with closing out games this season and its defense can be a concern, but Big Blue seems to be the most equipped team in the mediocre NFC East. Eli Manning still has Odell Beckham and his league-leading eight touchdowns to bail him out down the stretch.

5) Packers (6-3)

Green Bay's third straight loss has a lot of people in Wisconsin shaking their cheese heads, but there is reason to believe that Aaron Rodgers and company will right the ship. The loss to Detroit is inexcusable, but Rodgers is still third in the league with 21 touchdown passes. While the loss of Jordy Nelson for the season and the disappearing act of Eddie Lacy are concerning, Green Bay has a huge game with Minnesota next week followed by three straight against sub-.500 teams.

6) Falcons (6-3)

Atlanta isn't without its problems, but it should be able to thwart off the sub-.500 teams that are chasing it. The Falcons enjoyed a bye week in Week 10, and will face the disappointing Colts at home next Sunday. Atlanta is fifth in the league with 402.2 total yards of offense, led by Julio Jones, who is first in the NFL with 114.3 yards per game.
